Welcome to the Equifax Technical Affiliate Network Services web site hosted by Equifax Mortgage Services ("EMS"). As you may know, EMS owns a proprietary mortgage operating system (the "Gateway System") that, among other things, enables consumer reporting agency licensees of the Gateway System (each a "Technical Affiliate") to interface with both Freddie Mac's LP System and Fannie Mae's DU System (the "GSE Systems"). These Technical Affiliates use the Gateway System to provide tri-merged consumer credit reports for the purpose of secondary use to Wholesale lenders that are licensees of the GSE Systems.
The sole purpose of this website is to ensure that the appropriate terms and conditions governing access to and use of consumer credit reports ("Terms and Conditions") are in place in each case in which a licensee of the GSE Systems procures a consumer credit report for secondary use from a Technical Affiliate.
Please note the terms and conditions of any written service agreement in effect between a Wholesale lender and a Technical Affiliate (a "Direct Agreement") will, with regard to all consumer credit reports procured from that Technical Affiliate, control and supersede the Terms and Conditions posted on this website. The Terms and Conditions are applicable only if a Wholesale lender procures a consumer credit report for secondary use from a Technical Affiliate without the benefit of a Direct Agreement.
While at this time we do not anticipate any changes to the Terms and Conditions that are posted on this Website, it is possible they may be modified from time to time if there is reason to do so, such as a change in law or regulations. We do not have a procedure at this time to provide notice of changes to the users of this web site.
